3. Other... or any toothpaste company that doesn't torture animals.
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 04:12 PM by friesianrider
I know, I know...you can't totally erase everything in your life that was tested on animals. But if I have a choice on something as trivial as toothpaste, I'll find an brand that doesn't torture animals (and these toothpastes are becoming more common as more and more people care about this!).

Colgate is the worst on torturing animals, I think.

4. Do you know, F., if Tom's of Maine tests on animals?
Or AquaFresh? I use the latter at the moment but I'm not partial to any one brand (at least not since learned I should probably quit brushing w/ baking soda t-paste :().

5. Hmmm.
I *think* Tom's is good - for some reason their name is ringing a bell as okay. Let me check around online a bit...

13. I want to find one without sodium laureth sulfate
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 09:03 PM by Pithlet
For a couple of years I've been getting lots of canker sores. It seems I always have at least one. My doctor doesn't know why. I've heard that SLS can have that effect, so I'd like to try a toothpaste without it. I've always used Crest, which lists SLS as an ingredient as does every toothpaste at the store.
