What household product causes liver disease in dogs and cats?
Edited on Mon Sep-19-05 05:06 PM by MyPetRock
I saw a thread about this earlier but have now lost it. I can't even find it with a search. Help! I want to make sure I never buy this product!

The product is SWIFTER WETJET. I thought I got this information from DU, but it came from somewhere else. Please beware of this product. It is known to cause fatal liver damage in pets, and can also be harmful to small children.

6. My husband just researched it and came to the same conclusion.
Seems this is a bad rumor.

3. One drop of anti-freeze can kill a cat
But I guess that's not actually a household product.

4. I got that information as well, but found it debinked...
I have three cats and have been using a swiffer for two years now. I was understandably distraught upon hearing that I had endangered them, only to find out to my relief that it was not true.

5. Sounds like the same thing they said about Febreeze 5 years ago
Snopes will debunk it shortly.
