This month's winner is: CC with the entry Bird Bath



CC received 55 votes out of 227, or 24 % of the total votes. I believe this is the largest turnout yet.

CC will now have the honor of hosting next month's photo contest. CC also has the option of choosing next month's theme. CC also has bragging rights for a month.

And CC gets this ribbon.




Coming in at second place was: Intheflow with the entry Seeing Myself in my Father



Intheflow received 43 votes, or 19 % of the total votes. Intheflow gets this ribbon.



And coming in at third place was: Blue_In_Ak with the entry Pt. Woronzof Sunset



Blue_In_Ak received 40 votes, or 18 % of the total votes. Blue_In_Ak get this ribbon.



Congratulations to the three winners, as well as all who participated.
Note that nobody ended up with red ribbons. Save that for the freepers.

Thanks to everybody who participated and to everybody who voted. The DU Photography Group, which began last December, was founded by the DUer whose name we dare not mention anymore. Oh what the hell. It was Longrain who started the group.

The group is open to anybody who wants to share photos, or simply just check out photos from other DUers.

6. Oh no I have to learn how

to run a contest and do polls. A big thank you to Raging for running great contest through some difficult times and keeping her sanity. :grouphug: I am pretty sure everyone in the photo group will agree you did great and deserves hugs. May Rita skip you completely or at least go easy and leave you with power.
I don't know how anyone wins when there are so many great photos and original concepts to one theme. The group is a great place to learn. A big hand to everyone brave enough to enter the contest. It took me a few months before I tried. So if you have voted, just looked and thought about it, come on and jump in its fun.

10. Running the contest is easy.

It's chosing a theme that's hard!

And, ummm... Raging is a "his" not a "her." Thought you should know in case you need to suck up to him for help in running the next contest. :P

Really, though, any of us who have hosted in the past would be happy to help. It's strange that even though this was the most logistically challenging contest, in some ways it was the smoothest running. But perhaps that's because Raging wins so much, he has the most experience hosting the contests; he makes it seem easy even under duress.
