I'm taking a break from DU

No I'm not turning into a republican and no I'm not going on retreat with David Icke. Sorry, no details. I don't want to get this thread locked and I don't want to upset people.

I was driving down the road today in my semi and I was thinking about this post and what I would say in it. I had a very dramatic and sad post all written up in my head. But then I thought, "To hell with that. That's just another reason why I need to get off of there."

I've honestly enjoyed your "Tales from the Road" posts, and I'd like to see you stick around. I'm sure you have your reasons for posting a "farewell thread", and I won't presume to guess why you did. There are a lot of different kinds of folks here at DU: nice people, assholes, leftier-than-thou sorts, trolls, etc...

My opinion doesn't really mean anything, but I wish you'd stick around. I usually reply to these threads with a "see ya, fuck off" type of message, but that's not the case here.
