4. What will popular music sound like in 100 years?
Will it sound like someone farting in plastic tights like the soundtrack of Forbidden Planet or will it still have elements we recognize as melodies?

10. Junebug
Stellar ensemble cast of varying levels of fame. Most famous is Ben McKenzie from the OC. Amy Adams will be famous soon since she's getting Oscar buzz for her performance.

One of its many charms is that if you asked a dozen people what it's about then you'd get a dozen different answers. I think it's about the importance of family, in a nice non-preachy way

12. Sure. I'd like to see "Flightplan." She's a little skinny for my taste,
but still, Jodie Foster really melts my butter... ;)

13. I need to talk about Harry Potter.
I'm in the middle of a marathon read which started over a month ago. I can't stop. Hogswart is living in my head day and night.

15. Movies are great but cannot even compare to the books.
I put off reading them for so long because of all the hype. But once I got through the first 50 pages of the Sword and the Stone I was hooked. Great writing and characters.

16. Hee. I'm putting off reading the sixth book.
In fear that it will remind me of the ex who got me started on the series. He's a fat, disgusting, misogynist piece of shit and I'm trying to forget all about him. It sucks that Harry Potter is tainted with that for me. DON'T LET IT GET TAINTED, graywarrior!

19. How about we talk about "Stillwater"....???
They were a band CREATED for a movie, "Almost Famous". Jason Lee played the lead singer, and he actually sang the songs. Peter Frampton helped the guitar player learn and play.

They even have a couple original songs on the soundtrack. "Fever Dog" was one of them.

It's a fun little documentary about a 'struggling' movie producer/writer/director/cameraman/star in Wisconsin.
