1. HOLY CRAP!! Courtney Love!!!

Three Argentine Navy officers search for another Navy officer and a scientist who fell into an ice crevasse believed to be at least 50 meters deep while travelling by snowmobile near the Collins glacier, some 12 kilometers from the Jubany base in the Antarctic Peninsula on September 18, 2005. BUTT PRINTS IN THE SAND

One night I had a wondrous dream,
One set of footprints there were seen,
The footprints of my precious Lord,
But mine were not along the shore.

But then some stranger prints appeared,
And I asked the Lord, "What have we here?"
Those prints are large and round and neat,
"But Lord, they are too big for feet."

"My child," He said in somber tones,
"For miles I carried you alone.
I challenged you to walk in faith,
But you refused and made me wait."

"You disobeyed, you would not grow,
The walk of faith, you would not know,
So I got tired, I got fed up,
And there I dropped you on your butt."

"Because in life, there comes a time,
When one must fight, and one must climb,
When one must rise and take a stand,
Or leave their butt prints in the sand."

:hi:

12. Gold and diamonds.... WWJD?
Somehow I don't see the Christ I was raised to believe in as endorsing such a product.

Just take that $200 dollars or so you'd spend in your wife and kid for that Jesus Kitsch and give it instead to your local food bank.

Make Jesus really happy for once. :)

22. She said make Jesus happy, not make yourself happy...
And since Jesus advocated giving away material possessions to the poor, donating the money to a food bank instead of buying jewelry would probably be considered preferable in the eyes of Jesus.

Pretty sure that was her point.

Just sayin' is all.

29. Yep - there is little that I find more offensive than crosses
decked out in expensive jewels, precious metals, and etc.

A simple iron or steel or wood cross is all that is really acceptable. Anything else just shows how utterly poorly one has taken the message of Christ. The cross should never be JEWELERY, for fuck's sake. It should be worn only as a sign.

And I say that as a Christian who is very serious about his faith.

I should write for one of those websites that turns pop songs into Christian tunes.
