Favorite ice cream place?

Mine's Cold Stone. I like to get graham cracker crust mixed in with whatever I'm having. Their sorbets are divine. I do wish I could go to the one Bullwinkle925 and I always go to in California; crisp blue California skies, lots of glorious flowers in bloom, and my sister to sit outside and eat ice cream with. It doesn't get any better than that! Here I go to the one across the street from the Cowboys' training facility, which just doesn't have the same cachet.

2. Yellow Springs is cool!

I found a copy of "The Boston Strangler" in a used bookstore there when I couldn't find it anywhere else, and we bought a lovely clock there, too.

4. The last time I was in there, the ice cream was full of ice crystals.

It was pretty foul. Previously, I'd had good luck with them.

I really liked Oberweis when I lived in Illinois. Too bad it's run by a wingnut. I'd still buy it if they had it up here.

5. There's a local place here called Moo-Moo's

Right across the street from my friend's old apartment. We used to go there a lot last year. Great stuff.

And back in my hometown, another friend actually owns an ice cream place. It's great.

I'm also a Dairy Queen fan. Brownie Batter Blizzards are spectacular.

But I like Cold Stone, too.

9. I like Marble Slab quite a bit...have not tried Cold Stone

however, FW now has a Ben & Jerry's store and it is a non profit shop, money goes to Fort Worth YWCA for its community service projects. All the employees are referrals from teh YW's social service programs.

Best Ice Cream is my husband's hand churned Vanilla ...

10. growing up, Farrells and Father's Gay 90s'....

Both closed too long ago.

Now, there is a local place called "The Cow" that we go to. It is alright, but can't compare in taste or atmosphere.

We've tried Cold Stone. I was totally unimpressed.
