1. Is that your weiner dog or are you just happy to see me?

I am sorry, give me a mutt before a Dachshund! Five of my six dogs have a bit of beagle in them, good dogs, friendly and love to hunt. I remember a story I saw in the local paper about a dachshund eating his owners toe while he slept. Give me a mutt or give me kevlar slippers!

2. We've always had big dogs...

we ended up with the weiner as a rescue mission. The people were going to toss it out on the road. It's a pretty good dog-but would never be my first choice for a pet. They shiver and pee all the time, but my husband likes telling people he trips over his weiner.

3. I have found there aren't any bad dogs.....

If I found a weiner dog in need of help I would take the animal in. I already have a name picked out in case it happens. He/she will be named "Hot dog".
How cool would it be if you told your girlfriends that your husbands weiner can fetch a ball 50 yards away in less than ten seconds?
