Why do some people spell "moran" incorrectly?

Actually, there is a picture of a guy, with a mullet, and a stars and stripes doo-rag on, protesting us progressive from the thinking class.

And in the picture, he's holding a sign that reads (and I'm writing as the dude in the picture wrote out his sign): "Get a brain MORANS!"
