I need some dvd help...

For some reason, when I put my 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' dvd into my computer's dvd drive, it makes weird noises and doesn't read the dvd. The dvd works in the standalone dvd player, and other dvds work just fine in the dvd drive. So what the shit is going on?

2. How old is the DVD?

I only ask because I think some things have been going on with the different ways they make dvds. You might see if your dvd software has an update of patch.

I'm downloading the latest update patch now, hopefully that works.

I only have problems with my "backup" dvds in my laptop. I wish I had some other ideas for you as to why it won't work.

I'm gonna check and see if it works on my roommates computerlater. It's weird. Everything else works perfectly.

So it has the standard graphics on it, but no paper label, which is what I assume you meant.
