So, I'm a trained intelligence analyst with six years experience, an active security clearance, and am licensed in Pennsylvania to sell accident, health, and life insurance along with fixed annuities. This morning, I applied to work at Starbucks for the decent pay and benefits. Fire away.

12. I've applied to college full-time
starting in January. I hate intelligence. Thanks for the help, though. :hi:

21. Some.
I did work as a signals guy, so my job was data analysis/processing. I maintained quite a few databases in my day.

5. I used to work at one...
Whatever you do, don't let them tell you your area to maintain is the mop-sink. Hold out for "beanland."

They treat their employees pretty well too. A friend of mine started as a barista about 2 years ago and now she's the manager of one of the stores. And I think my old manager is somewhere in the regional offices now, so evidently people can move up from within if they want to.

Good luck to you. :hi:

14. I have no idea specifically,
but from talking to other people who have worked there, its roughly $10/hr. Not bad for Pittsburgh and its relatively low cost of living. I really need the benefits :(

11. Selling coffee would have to be more rewarding than selling insurance
Is "liking coffee" one of the qualifications for the position?

13. Not a bad company
Starbucks is generally considered a good place to work. You could do a lot worse. I wish you luck whether with Starbucks or someplace else.
