Who knew that having a house painted would cause such a freaking mess? Call me naïve, I don't care -- it's true. And I just learned that one of the cats crapped in the bathtub in the hall bath. Sigh. They are in a tizzy.

We feed them! We clean up after them! We take them to the vet! What more do they want?! Dammit, WE make the house payment -- WE get to say what color it's painted!!

Over the fireplace, the builder put a finished space w/ a cable hookup and a door, imagining it a great place for a TV. We told him we didn't want it, but he forgot. We've put our Christmas stuff in there for four years but we HATED it. We couldn't put up a big painting or something. The painting contractor took out the door and closed the wall! YIPPEE!!

They're not cheap - meaning, not only are they not cut-rate or discounted, but they are very, very well-made trees. They are well worth the price.

They're made from solid wood; most others I've found on line are made largely from pressed wood. GREAT stuff here.
