I'm having my 20th high school reunion next year!!!

Just got a call from an old school chum. It's going to be my 20th high school reunion next year.

Man, he's a cold case detective, no wonder he tracked me down. :) :evilgrin:

My lame a** high school didn't have one

the guy they put in charge of it dropped the ball and couldn't put it together. I probably wouldn't have gone anyway. I see everyone from high school that I want or need to anyway.

9. I had my 20th last year. Don't worry about impressing people.

At my 20-year, people seemed much less anxious about impressing and much less interested in being impressed than they did at the 10-year. People are who they are. Certainly, there were a few "Look at meeeee!" types there, but for the most part it was pretty relaxed (as relaxed as it can be when 350 people plus guests are at a party! 350 equalled about half our class).

Whatever you decide to wear, try to avoid black. When I went to the 10-year, I wore a red dress. Nearly every other woman there was wearing a black or navy blue dress or outfit. At the 20-year, there was much more variety in what people wore.

the people I went to high school with were for the most part pretty decent and okay. A few snobs, but generally a good batch of people.

I'm going through so many emotional things right now, and I worry about how I will impress people at a party. ;) haha. Yes, I have my shallow moments. :evilgrin:

So many people seem so "established" and I'm actually making some changes in my life because I've been so stuck. I guess deepdown I still feel I don't measure up to some people (in some ways).
