Hi! I'm going to replace approximately 700 sq. ft. of carpet.
We're going to get estimates tomorrow.

Anyone want to take a stab at how much it will be?

2. Depends on the type of carpet...
I could do it with paper towels for $12.95.

They're on special over at the retail store.

3. LOL... toilet paper might be nicer
Extra squeezable Charmin is sort of like plush carpet, right?

10. Hear, hear.
Hard floors are expensive, but *so* much easier to live with.

9. Figure on paying $2500 to $3000 if you get anything decent
A lot of carpet is made from recycled PET plastic--soda bottles--so get that. You need 77 yards of carpet.

Add the carpet, the pad, the tack strips and seam tape, plus labor...it adds up quick.
