they had a lot of commercials for it, heavily hyping it up. guess i'll check it out.

They've done exactly zero character development so far. But with the exception of that one scene, where he was talking to another law enforcement agent (I think), he's been speaking accent-less English. :shrug:

That's strange for the first show. I guess they're saving it for future eps. I wanted to watch it, it looked good but I am at work.
I work nights so it's hard to get caught up with TV shows.

I'm hoping it's just a case of "we have to get through this before we can get to the real story".

They've got to slow it down and develop the storyline more, but yeah...it could be good.

Not impressed with the dialog at all. The whole show seems forced to me. Of course, I'm watching it, so.... that makes me a big fat hypocrite

but I'm hoping it's because they were like, ok, we have to shoot this hurricane scene before we can get to the actual story...and therefore, the dialog might get better once the real story starts. :shrug:
