A Damnable Abomination found in my fridge!

Though Pabst claims it's "splendid" and has a high level of "drinkibility," I find it somewhat lacking compared to regular, delicious Pabst.

Still beats Blatz in a can though.

Consider this a PSA from me to you.

2. I drink real beer when I'm not broke, and Pabst when I'm broke.
Where this crap came from is beyond me. I think the boy got a carry-out from a bar or something. It's pretty bad.

5. Maybe I'm a snob.
If I can't afford to buy good shit, I do without.

7. No no, don't think that way.
I have 2 counts against me: I live in Milwaukee, and the boyfriend's in a band so we must have beer on hand at all times even if it's crap beer.

When I buy it I get the good stuff.

3. Check out these Beasts in my fridge:

It's $10.99 for a 24-pack, so that's all I drink because it's so cheap. :scared:

8. I did the Pabst brewery tour...
Edited on Wed Sep-21-05 09:55 PM by VelmaD
several years back while visiting Milwaukee. It was fascinating. Especially the part where they make sure the cans are filled up just right. They go around a corner on the conveyor belt and if they are too full or too empty they go flinging off into a huge barrel on the brewery floor. If they're filled just right...the centrifugal force keeps them on the belt around the corner. It was really cool.

But I still wouldn't drink Pabst on a dare. :)

12. Why yes...yes we could

Milwaukee was interesting. We were there because they held my little brother's Navy bootcamp graduation at the arena where the Bucks play. He took us to a baseball game (the Brewers were playing the Rangers that weekend) and then we did the tourist thing. Saw the brewery. It was tres cool...even if it was Pabst. *snort*

If I'm ever that way again you'll be the first one to know.

11. Aw, neat. Haven't done that one but I went on the Miller tour...
That one's free and at the end you get 3 pints of non-revolting beer. We went on a weekend though and nothing was going on. They did try to make us slam our pints at the end in the Rathskellar because they needed room for the next tour.

"Here, slam these 3 pints...don't drink & drive now!" Insanity!
