12. South Dakota: Ring-necked pheasant


I've lived in Minnesota for the past 12 years, but two people displayed the Loon, so I decided to bring a little bit of my home state into this thread. Besides, it's a beautiful bird, especially in flight.

I wouldn't know, as I haven't had one yet, but you know...terayaki grilled pheasant does sound good. :9
South Dakotans hunt the ring-necked pheasant. Lots. Which makes it rather odd that I lived in South Dakota for 18 years and never had pheasant.
