How long does it take a cat stitches to heal enough

that i can take this cone thing off of caindy's head? she's going to pick at them for sure.

i thought it was on the "fact sheet" the vet gave me. it aint. :(
she's miserable, and she's getting to me, but she will rip at them.

5. Probably about a week.

And yeah, she's not going to be able to groom herself during that time.

You may be able to take it off of her if you can confine her to a location where, if she starts to pick at her stitches, you can put the cone back on.
