"Sensual seminars" and flying saucers as French sect goes recruiting in Spain

MADRID (AFP) - To register it depends on your sexual proclivities. "If you're up for any kind of experience, you get a green bracelet, and a red one you are 'available' but looking for stable partnerships."

So says a reporter from Spain's Mundo-TV in describing her initiation for a documentary into the curious Raelian sect.

The reporter, "May," a specialist in hidden camera reports, recounted to AFP how she was inducted into a "sensual seminar" organised by French guru Claude Vorhilon, alias "Rael", early last month, at a seaside hotel near Barcelona.

Antena 3 television last Thursday broadcast the film showing the lives of the 500 participants, either into the scene or just curious after finding out about the existence of the event on the internet.
