The people on this forum are intense LOST fans and it's fun to read.

Here's what I found there regarding Walt's whispers:

Another interesting point, someone realized that the guy who died in the ER when Jack was trying to save Sarah has the same last name as Shannon and was probably her dad. How spooky is THAT?

8. Last night another light bulb finally went on in my head

and boy did it sure take long enough for it to occur to me. DUH.

I know the writers said they chose the name John Locke deliberately but didn't say what exactly they are trying to convey with it in terms of the show. So I got that his name was somehow significant from day one.

But it just finally hit me last night, that boy I'm slow on the uptake. Danielle, the spooky French woman's last name is Rousseau. HMMM. My history profs would slap me silly in the head for not picking up on that link sooner considering I majored in it.

I don't think that is a coincidence. Are we going to get some one with the last name of Hobbes? And if so what does it all mean? Are the writers just playing with our minds, trying to show off how smart they are, or does it all have some hidden meaning?

Sorry if this has already been discussed and not trying to hijack the thread honest, just didn't want to start yet another Lost thread, and am curious, now that I finally got a clue?

15. He won't be appearing--except maybe weird stuff like this--

for at least the first half of the season. The writers are also going to have to explain how this kid is growing up so fast. Remember, each season only covers something like 40 days on the island. So by the end of this season, the actor will be 2 years older than he was when he started, and is probably due for a growth spurt any time now. They're going to have to work it out so that we can believe Walt grew up so much in only 80 days.
