I got a question about DU's computer systems

What computer architecture (Intel, PowerPC, SPARC, etc.) does Democratic Underground run on?

What Operating System hosts its server software?

Just wondering, since they had so much trouble today.

Have they thought of using FreeBSD? It's one of the best, if not the best server operating system software out there, and highly stable

1. It runs on Commodore 64s

And they even have 5 1/4 floppy drives, which are much faster than cassette tape drives.

God...is there at least a NetBSD or Linux that runs on Commodore 64s? Please tell me they're at least using one of those OS to run on it, cause if they're using C64's proprietary OS, we're screwed.

No really, what do we use? And what do the Freepers use? I wonder if, beyond being right-wing morons, they run bad OSes too :)
