1. Last year I was Dorothy and my hubby was the Scarecrow.
This year I don't have a clue. I wanted to go as Al and Peggy Bundy last year so maybe we'll do that.

3. I go as a convict every year.
I wear an orange jumpsuit costume that looks like it came from the county jail.

6. My hubby actually bought those green and white
striped pants off of a convict one year and wore them on Halloween. I guess the convicts carry around an extra pair of pants. I am sure my hubby could have been arrested for that, but he looked genuine. We wrote in black marker on a white tee-shirt "DOMC RU 469" Which stands for Department of Mississippi Corrections. The numbers were my hubby and his friend's dirty mind at work.

a christian fundie republican housewife.

It was the scariest thing I could think of then, and it still is.

I wore it to an art-nerd party last time where everyone was dressed as abstract concepts and/or punks from the future. For some reason, I didn't quite fit in with my little khaki pants, tucked in shirt, lip gloss, bible, and "hi, I'm Jane and I'm Hatin' Satan!" sticker.
Art-nerds. Go figure.

8. Art Nerds take themselves too seriously
...especially when surrounded by their own milieu. Too bad they didn't "get it".

10. Well, that and all the drugs they were on.
And I didn't know them very well at the time so I'm sure it was odd to have someone you don't know show up like that at your party.

I think they'll get it this year. These art-nerds aren't the kind that take themselves seriously at all--they're more socially dysfunctional weirdos than anything else--but they are all on a similar wavelength so I think that's what put them off.

11. I haven't decided yet.
A couple years ago, I was Ann Coulter. I got a slutty see through blouse and short black skirt, black go go boots, painted my face like a skeleton, long blonde wig and devil horns. Best Halloween ever. No one recognized me at all. As I walked downtown in Lafayette, LA, I scared the crap of about five different groups of sorority girls. They took one look at me and literally dove out of my way. Some crossed the street, looking extrememly disturbed. IT was awesome. Hhahahahahaha

Not quite sure what we'll be this year.

By the way, I WANT that button. "I'm Hatin' Satan" That's gold.

15. I am going as Condi Rice.
Although I am white, makeup will work and I will dye my hair black. I don't like to admit it but I do/could look an awful lot like her. Scowl, gap-toothed and all.

I just need to work on a couple of key phrases and mannerisms. We are trying to think of who my husband can be. I will post a picture of him later. Maybe you guys can help.
