BUSH REACHES OUT AND IN . . . & REMAPS THE SOLAR SYSTEM!
FLY ME TO THE RUMMY . . .
PRESIDENT Bush says the planets' new names are more familiar to the American people and easier to remember.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The picture is familiar: Nine planets orbiting a giant yellow sun against a sea of stars. But a closer look at the new maps of the solar system show something different. Gone are the names Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. In their place are George, Laura, Dubya, Condi, Cheney, Jenbarb, Rove, Rehnquist and Alberto.
The change was announced yesterday by the White House.
"This is by Executive Order," White House press secretary Scott McClellan told reporters. "As an education president, Mr. Bush understands that remembering the names of the planets is confusing for school children. He himself admits to confusing Venus and Mars.
"He remembered that Mars was named for the Roman war god, but Mr. Bush always put it at the front of the list."
