6. When I was a kid I had a black mouse named Spearchucker.

Named after the Spearchucker Jones character from "M*A*S*H." I liked the sound of the word, and had no clue it was an ethnic slur. My father, in his wisdom, corrected me.

I don't think "Zulu Warriors" could be worse.

7. when I was in Junior High

one of the guys I hung out with did a killer "Jungle Bunny" imitation. He would wiggle his nose and stick out his buck teeth. We'd all crack up. He do it during music class or some other time when we were supposed to be paying attention. None of us knew that "jungle bunny" was an ethnic slur, we just thought it was a funny rabbit imitation. God I hope no one heard us use the term out loud then!!!
