What is wrong with some people? (My trip to the bank)
I went in with my merchant deposits for the past two days and got in the merchant line. I heard this angry voice yelling, "The line's over here, lady," but for some reason I didn't think he was talking to me so I ignored it. But I was wrong! :D

Then he came over to me and yelled right in my face, "Hey, you're cutting in line! The line is over here!" I just replied, "I'm a merchant and in the merchant teller line." Everyone in the bank at this point turned around to stare at us. I asked the teller if this was the merchant line and she said, "Well, that's what my sign says." He stomped back over to the other line, and when he got to the next available teller he made some loud, snide comment about how he's sure he has "way more money in this bank than anyone else here" and he shouldn't have to wait FIVE MINUTES in line to see a teller.

Geez, what a loon - he was completely freaking out...

1. What an ass. I had something similar happen to me in the grocery
store. The woman behind me started yelling that I had cut in line, when I had already unloaded everything onto the belt and she wasn't even IN line when I started.

Finally her son came over and told her to chill. :eyes:

3. Someone just called to my department to tell someone to make sure
that *I* was calmed down before they came up to give me some paperwork.

I'm about the most mellow person you have ever met. If anything I would think that people would think I don't care enough.

They didn't know it but that is one of the top two things not to say to me.

Oh well she is probably STEWING in her office after what I said to her. I feel MUCH better now.

6. If he has way more money than anyone else in the bank.....
Why didn't he send his personal assistant to yell at you? I know that's what I'd do.

7. Good for him...
His relatives will be very happy with all his money in the bank when his heart blows to shit for being a stressed out, self centered idiot.

8. I had that happen
to me all the time. Angry looks and remarks. Some people just don't get it that we are carrying large amount of money and need to get in and out as quickly as possible.

9. Reminds me of people in line at TD/Canada Trust
Many TD/Canada Trust branches are open until 8 p.m. All the other major banks shut down at 3:30 except on Fridays.

Whenever I hear somebody grumbling about the length of the line (they really aren't that long) at 7 p.m., I'm often tempted to tell them to go over to one of the other banks and stand in line. They'll have a long, long wait.
