everything in my freezer is frostbitten, but there's no frost

in the freezer itself. even the contents of new prepackaged boxes get covered in frost quickly. what is the deal? I'v tried lowering the temp a bit, but doesn't seem to help.

1. Then it is just freezer burnt, not frost burnt.

I am guessing more to do with air than moisture.

this is an obscure question but if anyone has had experience with the same thing I'd be interested in hearing what you did about it. I miss using the freezer! must have popsicles!

4. I guess putting my prepackaged items in tupperware

but anything else doesn't stay protected by the tupperware, even if wrapped in a freezer bag and foil-aagh! maybe just call the landlord.
