HELP! Need quick advice I have a wounded raptor/hawk that's adopted me...

with a wounded wing. He or she has run of the garage for the moment.

Any folks out here with advice?

No vet available until Monday, and I'm off for mice shortly.

2. Thanks! Good idea, I've posted this in GD as well and have pretty

much decided to go to the pet store for mice at this point.

There's a Dr. that specializes in Raptors nearby (60 miles) that will be in on Monday.

5. Keep it calm

If it's possible, imobilize wing (wrap bandage around both wings and body?). Get plenty of mice. Check Internet for raptor rescue. Check Fish and Game. Check Audobon.

6. Where are you located?

I can put you in touch with a friend of mine at Audobon society outside of Philadelphia, in, you guessed it, Audobon. They are currently rehabilitating an injured bird similar to what you describe.
