just some new dress shoes with a thicker sole for work (Mrs Matcom led you astray)

the bike kicks ass. put 40 miles on it today. open road, traffic, just about every situation (which was what i wanted since i've never ridden before)

got it up to 60mph on open road and didn't even blink

crawled along on Main Street in bumper to bumper with ease.

in-between, no sweat. spent an hour up at the high school parking lot first getting comfortable and i'm already a pro now.

even pulled up to a Harley rider at a stop light who gave me a thumbs up (knowing - or guessing - i was new to the "club") on the looks of the thing.

boy i REALLY notice when drivers don't notice bikes though. THAT didn't take long :eyes:

keep your eyes peeled people. they are EVERYWHERE :hi:

People don't notice bikes, and I have seen some pretty nasty near misses.
