ARGL! My Eclectus Parrot is driving me nuts!!!

I let her roam the apartment, which is cool because when she has to "go" she comes to me, I hold her over the wastepaper basket, bombs away and I praise her. She puffs up and shakes with happiness and that is that. I let her roam because Eclectus need a lot of walking. They walk a lot in the wild.

On the other hand, all she does now is walk to me, climb up, and sit on my left hand. All the time. She wants ALL my attention, and to snuggle and kiss. ALL THE TIME!

I know...get a life and a problem, right?

1. What you have is a normal problem with Parrots

Your darling think of you as a mate. They are VERY attached to their mates and is always with each other ,save for when the female is on the nest.
Some types take turns nesting, some other type the male will find food for the female.

She is doing what is natural.
