I had a wonderful time, and was really inspired by the throngs of people marching through Washington.

I really enjoyed meeting fellow DUers - it really capped off the weekend in a most excellent way. It was lovely to go to RFD's, though I'm a bit perplexed about why I ordered the same 'ol beer that I get at my local watering hole when I was in an establishment boasting 300 beers. The mind boggles...

I took lotsa pics, but I have no idea how to get them off my mother's camera, so I'll fiddle with that for a while before handing it over to her and encouraging her to take on the task. And I really need to scuttle around the kitchen scavenging for snacks.

Her name is Marlys. She is just the bestest character evah!! Lynda Barry has a really subtle, but extremely sharp wit. She's the bee's knees. :)
