I bought an all-maple 21-bar, and had in converted to C/F diatonic (at considerable cost); then my physical problems jumped up and ate my life shortly thereafter, and I couldn't play it anymore.

However, there's light on the horizon: I just shipped out yesterday to the guy who did the conversion for restringing and new felts, and when ti gets back I'm going to play the son of a bitch, and I don't care how much it hurts. I've had enough of not playing music, and I'm simply not putting up with it anymore.

You should get an Autoharp; it's a geat instrument because you essentialy hug it when you're playing it. And you don't have to get fancy for it to sound good.

Anyway, here is a pic of my son, daughter (next to me), wife, and son's gf at a Thai restaurant on Sunset in L.A. taken just before he went to Costa Rica and Nicaragua on a medical mission after graduating from UC - Santa Barbara. I assume he is still there.
