Her OB told her to hang out here until she starts early labor. Should be about 8-16 hours. I'm actually supposed to go rent some movies, apparently.

8. Her father picked her up from work just a second ago. I'm not on deck

for another 45 minutes. We're all packed and ready to go, so all I need to do is load the cats up with food and we can hit it.

I stopped to let my online friends know we were on our way to the hospital.

They'd talked me through some early contractions the night before in a chat room...it was the least I could do. ;)

It's been a baby boom at DU, lately. Yay, more libs!

ETA that was an excitement I never got to experience. I was induced at the hospital both times, and my water never broke before I got there. They always used one of those big plastic thingies that looks like a giant crochet hook to pop it. Fun times :)
