Sorry about that; The kitty is the same way; she doesn't go out, but she screams her head off until I come open the balcony door (no matter what the weather; -20C she screams the loudest)for her and she can sniff the air for a few minutes. Even in the middle of the night when we're in bed, too. Spoiled kitty..:)

Our good old rethuglican governor has decided that we must have a special election in November (which we can ill afford)...and there are a bunch of ballot propositions which he is pushing, and which we MUST defeat....

So tonight our speakers talked about them...and some folks who are running for school board seats came and spoke to us...

All in all, a very informative evening....

It is amazingly wonderful to find so many Dems in my area.....so many people who agree with me about things......

I live in Los Angeles County......and there are a great many Dems here...

It wasn't always that way....but it has been for some time now. The closer to the ocean, the more liberal the electorate...

And the further inland you go, the more conservative the electorate gets...at least in California....

I don't know when hyou lived here, but I've been here since 1968, and there are lots and lots of Dems all over.....

Even Orange County has it's share of Dems...not as many as in LA....but not bad all the same.....
