2. Montreal did one year,
but they cancelled the season.

I can't believe that every year lately, They say the Braves can't possibly win the division, and yet they do.

3. This year (again) they were supposed to be short on pitching
I will admit that I don't follow them as much as I used to (watching whole games at times) but I do know that they have some really good young players (again)-the rightfielder and the first baseman

I still have the highlight of the rightfielder gunning out a guy at home from a few weeks again saved on the DVR.

5. The Cards finished it a while ago huh?
I checked the standnings last week or so and saw that the Cards had already clinched.

Yes it should be a good fall for watching baseball.

6. I know, Phils blow it again
They'll keep blowing it as long as Wade is GM.

7. But they sure have a lousy WS track record
I mean, in 14 years, they should have done better in the World Series, but they are the Braves, and destined to CHOKE when it really counts.

Fuck 'em and their mega-annoying tomahawk chop.

8. So are the Braves actually going to sell out a playoff game this year?

10. LOL
probably not (former atlanta resident here---the city couldn't even sell out the Hawks in the playoffs, at the height of NBA popularity)

9. It was a pretty typical year for us Mets fans.
Blind hope, more blind hope and still more blind hope.

As a Mets fan, I've always had it in for the Braves, but you have to respect what they have done - which is to fire John Rocker. Rocker recently failed on a Long Island semi-pro team.

13. It'll be White Sox and Cardinals
With the Sox winning their first since 1917...

Although I wish the Padres would be the upsetter in the NL playoffs. That isn't likely, horrible as the NL West was this year.

14. I would like to see the Padres go, actually.
I'm usually for the AL unless it's the Yankees or the Red Sox. Then I tend to root for the NL.

15. As a Padre fan I dont know whether to be proud or ashamed.
They may win the NL West with a losing record. But then again October is like a 2nd season and anything can happen.

I'd personally love to see a Red Sox - Braves series.

Remember, the Braves played in Boston for over 60 years.

16. Of course - there's no competition in the NL West!
I mean who else? The Dodgers suck, the Giants only have Bonds and, um, Bonds... the Diamondbacks are completely laughable, what else is there?

17. The Buffalo Bills of baseball.
14 years and 1 World Series. Great for you. The Braves are the regular season champs, woo hoo. And what's up with the joke fan base down there? The playoff games are never sold out. Crow all you want, all this means is you get a few more games before joining the others on the golf course.
