I'd like to apologize for misspelling first name of dead American poet Allen Ginsberg the other night.

I would also like to apologize for misspelling Bhagavad Gita this morning.

It was wrong of me to do these things. I apologize.

Oh, if you spell-check Bhagavad Gita on DU, you can replace it with "Behaved Git." So I guess some good did maybe come of this after all.

This happened during colleged, in 1986 or early '87. We stopped and looked around for the cat, but couldn't find it. I think it must have been spooked real bad and took off. I can't even be sure that I actually hit it, altho given how fast my car was going, I don't think I would've missed it. I certainly hope it wasn't hurt too bad. I've been a very careful driver ever since, but the image has never really left my mind.

I also had the idea to poke your eyes out so you'd more accurately resemble the cartoon character, but that never came to fruition.
