What threads do you bookmark?

I learned the fine art of bookmarking threads from the indefatigable JimmyJazz. It certainly comes in handy when the advanced search function is down. I'm a sentimental sap, so most of my bookmarked threads are bookmarked because of funny exchanges with my DU pals.

1. Hi there, my dear progmom........Hope your day is good!

I have a bunch of bookmarked threads....to wit:

Anything that I start, even the good night ones...

Any photo thread...I like to keep track of what my friends look like...

Any thread where I have had meaningful exchanges with my dear friends...

One other category that you will recognize, and of which I cannot speak.....;)

I do believe that this about covers it.....I've used up a LOT of bandwidth with my bookmarks.....
I hope they never limit us as to how much we can store.....

2. Most of my bookmarks are from southern DU'ers....

...who like to brag about the nice weather they have around February.

So I bookmark those, and send them out to those same people in August along with a "Who's laughing now".

14. Mostly my long serious stuff from GD

I may need some of the material later for publishing... and it reminds me of why I am on DU.

Admittedly, I don't post serious things that much anymore. 2004 really took some wind out of me.

Bookmarks are easy to take for granted, so it is nice to remember we have this valuable feature. :-)
