We were hoping to start a tradition of building such things there and maybe turn a chunk of that stretch of beach into one giant stone sculpture garden but geocache wouldn't let us.

Firstly you've got to know your market and I haven't a clue who would WANT such a thing. I'd probably have to cement it in which wouldn't be hard but it might not work, etc. I always think f the drawbacks in these things first...

Still I suppose a website wouldn't hurt, huh?

Try selling some stone artwork on Ebay, first of all. you never know who'd pay even $100.00 for something nice for their garden. I'd say contact some of the local art galleries and get in contact with local "artistic" folk. Somebody there has to have connections and might like what they see and push your name around.
