10. What...being a programmer isn't very stimulating?
Try retail sometime, Dude! You are so busy all day long running at warp 7 to keep up with customers and tasks, you can't help but be stimulated!

16. It depends on the program
Business software is usually so b o r i n g !

But I know what you mean. I worked as a trainee chef one time. That job really sucked, but it's gotta be said: on a Saturday night, once the checks started flying in, it certainly wasn't boring.

30. I wish
I'd love to get into graphics programming. I intend to learn OpenGL, but when I'll find the time for it is anybody's guess.

I think my dream job would be to work for Id software or someone like that. :)

You probably don't have "Golden Corrals" in Germany, but I'm sure there are places to eat that you've overdone it a time or two! How are YOU this morning?

15. First I visited my family for five days
Did lots of shopping, bought 12 books, went to a craft fair and a town festival. Then I went to the Peace Protest in DC this past weekend (no doubt you've seen all the buzz about it here). I've also repainted/redecorated my bathroom and done some yardwork, plus eaten more junk food than I care to mention.

29. I'd like to go there sometime too...
We both fell in love with Rome when we went last year. It was the best trip I've EVER taken in my life! We have GOT to go back! We both threw coins in the Trevi Fountain, so that assures we'll return! You know...all roads lead to Rome!

Poodle-boy has had to apologise after an 82 year-old heckler was arrested at the newlabour conference.

I was completely shockingly dense in another thread ("why is everone so testy").

I gather than a Senator has received some indictment thingy - he's a Republican so he's obviously totally innocent.

Edit - typo.

28. It would be very metrosexual of him
I can well imagine that he will be like her in that his departure will create it's own problems.

The Tory Party is still a train-wreck left over from Lady T., I think that it's perfectly possible that once Blair goes there will be a similar descent into anarchy within the Labour Party.
