but I do think that they will retaliate within the week or so to get the attention off Delay and shift it to something else. We've seen that kind of behavior all along, and I don't think things are going to change too fast.
There are now so many issues out there that it's finally difficult to see the pukes try to distract people from them all, and even the major few that happened in front of the American people, like Katrina's aftermath and Rita's impact, will be burned into the public's consciousness for a very long time.
Rove may try to spin, but he sure as hell doesn't have a dozen tentacles to keep all of the issues from being in front of the world.
I think people have finally started (although still weakly) realizing this admin is far worse than the Nixon-Watergate scandal, and that lies, greed and megalomania are running our country. But it's taken long enough.
A friend of mine told me about a month after the election last year that the election was a year too early. I think he was spot on--it took that extra year to help expose the horror of the administration in finer detail. But now, there is very little we can do about it.
