They latch on to a brand new study that states some wild stuff, to scare the audience into watching the story and freaking out, only to leave out that it is the first time anyone has made such a connection.

I did hear about the article - though given the instance of breat cancer among males I don't think it affects me very much.

It's probably horseshit. That's like saying there's a correleation between being a Braves fan and mental deficiency. Probably true, but one doesn't necessarily cause the other.

seems a little ridiculous to me.

Although, as a lefty I have heard the following:

The hemispheres of the brain 'cross connect' to the body, i.e. the left hemisphere controls the right side of the body and the right hemisphere controls the left side if the body.

That means that left handed people are the only ones in their right mind !
