Damn it.
Mrs R. came downstairs, full of romantic intentions, but inadvertently managed to drive her elbow into the spot where I had three and a half inches of my collarbone sawed off several years back, which (as you may imagine) did not elicit a favorable response, reflexive though it was.

Damn it. She deserves better than that.

2. Didn't need to. Of course I apologized right away, then she did,
and all was fine. We never stay annoyed at each other more than about three minutes. Life's too short to waste any of it on being unhappy.

3. I second that thought!
I've already wasted way too much of my life being unhappy.

4. Aw, I understand.

When I do get hurt (and I mean hurt, not a little boo boo), I get mad. That is my instant response most of the time. Sometimes my hubby is the brunt of the anger. I understand. It takes a little ass kissing and apologizing!!

8. Actually, I didn't get angry. I just said "Ow" and grabbed my shoulder,
but that kind of ruined the mood, given that it's hard to be romantic when you're seeing stars (at least it is for me).

9. Well yeah! That does kind of ruin the mood!
I am sure you will find a way to make up for it!
