19. Direct TV is what my sister has - they had access to television

programming just after the hurricane, if they connected the tv to the generator.

Recovering is slow, but recovering is happening! One day at a time! :-)

18. I am still living with my sister and her husband. I have yet to get

power to the trailer and it is not safe to stay in it until I do. (My street was wiped out and not many neighbors living on it yet, though one neighbor down the road is expecting his and said he will put up a sign at the entrance to our neighborhood that reads "FEMA trailer world".)

Sis and husband love sports, nascar and CSI - I have no say over the programming and that is expected. I'm gratiful to have a bed to sleep on and not a cot in a tent! :hi:

22. Glad you like my new sig - thought it was wise to let folks know

why I may appear to be disoriented.

The vet just told me that he still is uncertain as to which hip is the strongest so he won't operate until next week. I am so conflicted. He said I can bring him home for the weekend, but I am afraid my sister and her husband can't handle the stress of him being there before his surgery. Even after the surgery things will be tough, but at least he will be on the mend. But then I have to consider the costs of the vet keeping him and I do miss him and I feel like a bad mom in not bringing him home and I am so confused. I don't know what to do. :-(
