John Ritter or John Rutter
John Ritter - incredible actor who never got the roles or the movies he should have and lived, while not in obscurity, never with the fame or fortune he deserved;

OR

John Rutter - a composer who composed one brilliant song, and somehow managed to find worldwide fame and fortune by constantly repackaging it with different words and every now and again slightly adjusting his formula.

4. I didn't either, the first time I heard him.
It wasn't until the second time I heard him that I started to wonder.

And now that I've heard him (and sung him) countless times, that my wonderment has been proven.

He's not one of those composers that I would say have a "style", like Ravel or Glass or Dvorak or Mozart, that you can tell it's time; he has a formula.

5. Rutter
I've only seen Ritter in Sling Blade - very subtle, solid performance.

Rutter's requiem was good, and I usually don't care for Christian music. Listen to Distant Lands by Rutter.
