I had a transcendant experience with one of my best friends. It was one of those moments that will never come again. But because of how we mishandled it, I've lost the friendship. I'm utterly bereft. We chatted online every day for a year and a half, and in a heartbeat it's gone. I'm more than heartbroken, I'm shattered.
