Dr. D is back in the USA! (From Bangalore, India)

She is in Chicago. Just got in from London and Bangalore. She goes to LA tomorrow. I just told Nick-Nick that "Nanny's back." He did a snap-roll and ran to the window. We will not see sweet Nanny until Friday. What a trooper!

British Airways out of Bangalore early India time (EST + 10:30). Then Dr. D was on the American flight from London Heath-Row (used to be two words!) that arrived in Chicago at about 5:10 CST. Small world, indie_voter.

However, they might have passed each other in the Bangalore airport. You're right, small world. ;^)

I just talked with her, she was appalled at how Bangalore has deteriorated (she is in her 70s, she was born and raised there, it was very different even 30 years ago, lol)

She said these call centers have become a magnet for criminals. The centers operate at night, the criminals prey on the people who work there, especially the young women, as they come and go to work. Ugh.

I hope Dr. D is doing okay ?

It's going to be colder than hell here tonight...1 degree above and even colder away from the lake. She must be going through climate shock right about now.

5. Bingo, Great-One!

She is feeling better, although she has another blinding headache. She is attributing it to jet-lag. She landed at ORD in her summer attire for Bangalore's 13-degree North tropical climate. Her Chicago staff will deliver her other wardrobe to the hotel in the morning. Then it's off to LA California. Is she crazy or what?

6. She was as sick as a dog in Bangalore for over 24 hours!
