Someone explain to me
what is funny, interesting, or whatever about starting your own thread repeating someone else's title? I am open minded and have a good sense of humor but I just dont get it. Please tell me.

1. I thought it was just me.
I guess I have a weird sense of humor or something. I don't get it.

2. It's kinda funny
to make parodies of some threads, I guess. I kinda think that now it's a little...old now, don't you think?

3. In some cases
There are clever or witty plays on the words. We see this in some of the haiku threads, or other "inside-DU-Joke" threads (yaks, etc.)

Sometimes these tend to get out of hand. As is the case in the latest one. But there are some that can get quite funny(like I have give* up 'N'), stick around...

4. Sometimes they are funny. For instance a few weeks ago I
posted a question about getting my ducts cleaned...which ended up being twisted into someone else getting their ducks cleaned. Funnily, that thread was getting more replies. They can be fun...until they are overdone.

7. Good Lord. The board is full of these threads?
I'm bored. Jeez. Can't you people come up with something more interesting to create threads about? Crap. I'm giving up mend? :wtf:
