Good Monday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Here we are at the start of another work week! I hope you had a good weekend and got to have some fun! I had a relaxing day yesterday, myself, because I didn't do diddly squat. :bounce: I needed to clean this crazy apartment of ours but, of course, I procrastinated enough all day that it didn't get done. Typical. Here's hoping that the upcoming week is an easy one for all of us!

1. Good Morning Clintmax!
I have to take the ornaments down today and put the house in order...in case we list it. Please don't clean to hard. We'd miss you and you might hurt yourself.

LOL! And I certainly wouldn't want to hurt myself now would I? Good luck getting everything down! So I'm guessing you've decided to go with the house you posted pictures of the other day then?

On second visit, it really is an amazing house for all of its bland exterior. The entire thing is wired to be a Smarthouse. :hi:

Wow! I didn't know THAT! That's exciting! As far as the "bland" exterior goes, that is always something you can change if you decide to go ahead with it. Good luck with it, Mrs. G! If you decide you want it, I hope you get it!

26. We didn't know it either, until we went through again...looking closer
this time and MrG noticed all the Cat5 wiring and infrared and such. All of the stuff is there to hook it up. The other amazing thing is that there is extra drywall and flooring (hardwood and ceramic) to finish the bonus room and basement. If we could get this house it would be amazing.

2. Good morning Clint.
:hi:

Glad to hear that all's well with you, and that you did nothing yesterday :bounce:

At the moment we've got Marche Pontificale from Organ Symphony No. 1 by Charles-Marie Widor in T.J.land.

It's good to see you again! I've always found organ music to be rather depressing or scary. I hope Marche Pontificale isn't because you need something upbeat there at work!

I wouldn't call it up-beat, but it helps me work dramatically.

Are you at work later?

20. I think that every single job on the planet has those moments.
But my attitude is if you can travel to work with a smile, and leave with one most of the time then you're in the right place.

Organ's gone for the moment, switched to a capella voice (without instrumental accompaniment) - quite quite gorgeous.

This is gorgeous - it's Thomas Tallis who is one of the top 4 English composers ever (i.m.o.), also to my mind one of about 6 giants of the renaissance.

In addition to installing a wood stove we are:
Laying a wood floor in the living room which will complete the job of covering over an old indoor pool.
And finishing our mud room/entryway to the new living room. I think this floor should be Bluestone. The walls are still at the sheetrock and tape stage but I do have a beautiful new front door (which still needs painting).

he played a game with me New Years Eve, telling me he couldn't come for bullshit reasons. I told him to either come or stay away alltogether. So he showed up for an hour, told me he loves me and left because his kid had to go to the hospital. Promised me I could come to his place the next day. Haven't heard from him since.
So I spent New Year alone, watching Ally McBeal on DVD. Didn't actually mind being alone that night. Didn't bother me as much as I was afraid it would.

Saturday I met with another guy. The one I had a date already in December with. But that will go nowhere either because I have no feelings whatsoever for this man. He is nice, staying in contact, it is interesting to talk with him. But I don't feel anything. Have to tell him still.
It really sucks. The men I am interested in don't want me, the ones who are interested in me, I don't want.

When Greekspeak and I went to get our passports so we could go to Rome, we went to the main post office here in Tallahassee and we got right in! We even had them take our pictures for us. Of course, you have to wait for it to come in the mail, but they got to us in plenty of time. You shouldn't have to wait there all day.

No, the Pearl Jam song is a totally different "Better Man".

Glad you took a day for yourself. One needs to do that to recoup, to get regenerated again.
My weekend was great, but as usual just too short.
Wishing all a great Monday!

47. Hello, SimplyF!
:hi:
Weekends are NEVER long enough. Neither are vacations. I got to take a two week vacation and THAT actually felt like a vacation.

71. Morning Clintmax!
I'm cranky today. Neighbor's dog (I'm in a duplex) barked for over an hour when I was trying to get to sleep. Then the insomnia kicked in.

The good news? I have an interview today. Pay's not great but it'll do.

:hi:
