Poll question: Who would win in a TOTALLY AWESOME fight?
or

1. Batman's got a fast car.
Wolverine's got a ticket to anywhere.

Remember when they were driving?
Driving in the Batmobile
Speed so fast, felt like Wolverine was drunk

3. Wolverine has the claws and probably some superpowers (not a reader)...
Batman has nothing but money, a cool car, and a butler. Batman would be lucky to beat Winthorp from Trading Places.

4. EXACTLY
I mean, wolverine has super heightened senses, he can track things by smell, he can see better in the dark than any normal person in the light, and with his adamantium skeleton his strength was basically as strong as any human can possibly be. Plus those claws will go through ANYTHING. AND he can heal himself. Even after he lost his adamantium skeleton, he could still kick Batman's ass.
This has been an ongoing debate between me and someone else.
While cool that batman has no superpowers, and he gets thumbs up for that, Wolverine would clean his clock.

5. So where do you get off calling this a totally awesome fight?
Edited on Sun Jan-15-06 09:48 AM by JVS
This is about as awesome as Mike Tyson vs Gerald Ford.

Unless you like one sided asswhippings

6. Well, while I think Wolverine would be the clear winner

Batman would put up a good fight, no question about that. He's no pushover, and he's got some tricks up his sleeve. Tricks that'd lose, but still. It would be pretty awesome to watch.

7. I think Batman needs to take a drug test.
For a busy businessman by day, superhero by night, who likely has no time for the gym, he's looking pretty huge in that picture. I think Alfred is slipping him some growth hormone, or something.

At any rate, Wolverine kicks his ass. He's a mutant with those cool spike things and crazy fighting skills. Batmans got gadgets, money, Robin, and probably a good case of 'roid rage.

14. Totally short fight, more like it.
Let's see, we have amazing healing capabilities and ginsu knuckles vs. a relatively fast, smart guy with some gadgets.

No contest there, unless batman knocked him out with gas or something.

Wow, I *am* a dork. :)

Batman could give Wolverine a good run, but ultimately would lose.
However, I don't think knockout gas would work on Wolvie cause his healing system makes him practically immune to most poisons and drugs.

I think we're both dorks ;)

17. Batman.
he'd just strafe wolverine a few times in the BatJet, soften him up, then climb to a few thousand feet, and drop a bomb on him.

self healing only works if you are in one piece. unless you are a starfish.

26. A valid question!
It took a bit of research but I concluded Wolverine.

http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/w/wolverine.htm

Wolverine is a mutant with a number of enhancements to his physiology. Wolverine possesses heightened senses, making him capable of seeing things at a maximum distance greater than that of a normal human. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, and he is able to recognize people and objects by scent, even if that person or object is hidden. Logan can use these enhanced senses to track anyone, with an impressive degree of success.

He possesses retractable bone claws that are housed in his forearms, they are part of his skeleton system. At will Wolverine can release these claws through his skin between the knuckles on each hand. The skin between the knuckles tears and bleeds, but bleeding is quickly halted by his healing factor. The claws are naturally sharp and tougher than that of normal human bone structure. This allows Wolverine to be able to cut through most types of flesh and natural materials. (Note: While Wolverine possessed his adamantium skeleton, his claws were able to cut through almost any material without any fear of damage to the claws.)

Lastly, Wolverine possesses an accelerated healing factor based on his physiology. While most normal humans heal injuries over a long period of time, Wolverine's healing factor speeds up that natural process. Wolverine's natural healing has been advanced to the point where he can heal extensive injuries (such as broken limbs) in a matter of hours to days. This factor gives him a higher resistance to poisons and toxins, and he can recover from almost any injury. The more extensive the injury, the longer the healing time will be.

Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die.

Wolverine, again due to his healing factor, has an enhanced resistance to disease, as well as an extended life span. Despite Wolverine's chronological age, he is still as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.

Abilities: Due to his extensive training as a CIA operative, a Samurai, and as a member of the Weapon X program, Wolverine is a master of multiple forms of martial arts, weapons, and vehicles. He is also a trained expert in computers, explosives, and assassination techniques.

Now with all this in mind he not only pretty much matches our outmatches batman in hand to hand skill, but has extremely heightened sense of awareness and smell taking batmans advantage of stealth and disguise away. Wolverine is also resistant to any kind of gas type agent that batman might try to employ. All wolverine needs to do is land a hit one with those admantium claws of his while he could probauly stand to take literally a hundred punches from batman. Even in the bat mobile, lets say he hypothetically ran wolverine over, would not break any bones, wolverine probauly would just stick his claws into the car, climb up to the cockpit, rip it open and slice up batman. I think wolverine wins this round.
