"mailin": Your computer has a speech impediment that does not allow it to pronounce the letter G.

"-01.mx.aol.com": This is just to confuse you so you'll have to hire an IT person to come to your aid. We do this on purpose...it's called job security.

"<64.12.137.89>": This is your IP address. IP means 'Igloo Poop' (In other words, this is where your computers Eskimos can use the bathroom on the internet.)

"said: 554 TRANSACTION": The Eskimo who is using the toilet at 64.12.137.89 said the word 'TRANSACTION'. Since this is all in caps, you may assume that this particular Eskimo is a Freeper.

"FAILED 554 AOL": The Eskimo Freeper is admitting that Bush was AWOL. The W is missing because George "W" Bush was missing for a year. (Possibly missing for 554 days.)

"will not accept delivery of this message:": Most Freepers do not accept the truth, so he is going to prevent you from sending emails to your friends out of spite.

AOL is having problems. This message is the SMTP equivalent of "All circuits are busy. Please try your call again later".

Some of the bigger services, out of sloppiness, laziness, etc. may be using this message for other, valid rejects like recipient's mailbox full, you've been flagged a SPAMER by somebody, etc., to keep their logs from getting too long.

I've been out of the mail server admin gig for a several years now. I'd be curious what the impact is on an from address when a recipient flags a message as SPAM. Do any of the services take that as reason to bounce all mail from that user?
