was just introduced by Bill Mahr, and she proceeded to slam Bush, Cheney,
the haters...it was awesome...

Said she had one thing in comment with the President: she didn't know how those words got into her speech (the one that got her in trouble)

SHe said we should "live our freedoms"

She said that the haters made her stronger....
She said that they have a new CD and DVD coming out next week...which is great because the haters can stomp on one and burn the other.

She said she was working a new song, "Goodbye Cheney" (I know it had Cheney in the title)

It was really amazing.....

I hurried right over here to post the same thing, but you beat me to it. I am so proud of her that I may become a little less cynical about the whole mess. With young people such as this wonderful woman, there may still be some hope (albeit a dim hope) that we may emerge on the other side of *'s four years of hell a better society, with a much better national idea of what we will allow and what we will not tolerate in our governmental officials.
